We are a thriving network of lawyers from the Malaysian diaspora (including solicitors, barristers, trainees, pupils, in-house lawyers, paralegals, legal executives, academics) who are based, living or practising in the UK.

Our Mission.

We aim to enable Malaysian legal professionals in the UK to develop lasting professional relationships and foster meaningful collaboration. The extensive experiences of Malaysian lawyers in Britain provides a strong foundation for mentorship and peer support.

In the spirit of giving back to our 'tanah air' (homeland), we strive to become a bridge connecting the legal community in Malaysia and the Malaysian diaspora in the UK.

A legal community away from home.

For decades, Malaysians have been arriving in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to practise law. This longstanding presence has created a diverse and accomplished community of legal professionals, spanning a wide range of practice areas and career stages. Through regular events and initiatives, we seek to provide an active platform for these connections to flourish, whilst enabling productive knowledge-sharing and capacity-building across the network.

Bridging jurisdictions.

Although physically abroad, members of the Malaysian diaspora have an inherent desire and tendency to contribute to their home nation. To this end, we collaborate with Malaysian practitioners, law firms, regulatory bodies and government agencies, to foster enduring ties between the legal communities from both sides.
